	Reminder to our parents, students and community that Edison High School offices will be closed July 5th through July 30th. Summer Hours are 7:30am to 3:30pm. Lunch Hour is Noon -1:00pm. During the summer ( between July 6 and August 5) transcript requests will be handled by Pupil Personnel Services at the District Office. Students in need of a transcript can call (714) 903-7000 X 6000 for more information and instructions, or visit the district webpage at www.hbuhsd.org and go to Transcript Requests under Student Services. The administration office at Edison will be closed for the month of July ( *from July 3 to to August 2.)*

	Avoid the long lines at the Financial Office during Registration!! Order online today!!! From June 21st to August 14th......Click on the image to the left and purchase your ASB Supercharger Card (includes yearbook) for $105.00. The Supercharger Card entitles you to discounts on many EHS dances & sport events. Proceeds supports Athletics & Student Activities. Or Buy your ASB Card ONLY (does not include the yearbook) for $55.00 by clicking on Yearbook Essentials on the Josten's website to the left. Bring your online receipt with you to Registration so you get a Gold ASB ID Card from the photographers.
	Edison High School Parent Orientation Edison PTSA, Foundation and ABC invite you to join them at Parent Orientation, Thursday, August 26th, 2010. Campus Tours will be 6:30-7:00pm. Meet in front of the school offices. This will be an informative meeting to answer all your questions regarding Edison High School, parent volunteer groups, student absences, booster groups.
SOS	Student Orientation Squad To all incoming Freshmen..........come meet new people and make new friends. When? August 27th 8:30am to 12:30pm at Edison's Gym. Wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. There will be fun activities and great new people to meet...Lunch is INCLUDED !!!!
	Edison High School Class Rings Josten's will be on campus on Friday, September 10th in the Cafeteria to take school ring orders 7:15 to 12:45pm. They will have a parent night in the cafeteria 4-6pm on Thursday, September 9th with rings on display. Make up orders will be taken on Tuesday, September 14th at lunch in the cafeteria.
	It's Back to School Night !! Edison High School Back to School Night has been scheduled for Wednesday, September 22nd. We will be on minimum day schedule.
	Edison High School Fundraisers
	Golf Tournament Mark your calendars....the 4th Annual Alumni ProSport and Celebrity Golf Tournament will be held on July 12, 2010 at Mile Square Golf Course. All proceeds will benefit the Edison High School Football program. All levels of sponsorship available. More information is at www.ehsgolftourney.com
	Personalized Bricks The Edison High School Foundation is pleased to offer personally engraved bricks for current students, faculty and alumni. These bricks serve as a lasting, on-campus tribute to the Edison community. The engraved bricks are now available in two sizes and are mounted on the cement columns around campus. The 4x8 brick allows for 3 lines of text with up to 18 characters per line. The 4x8 brick is $75.00. The new 8x8 brick allows for 7 lines of text with up to 18 characters per line. The 8x8 brick is $125.00. Orders are accepted throughout the year but the deadline for the 2011 installation is April 2011 . All bricks ordered before that date will be installed on campus in June. 	School Aloha Gear What better way to display Charger pride than the clothes you wear? The fabric for this cool, comfortable gear was custom designed and features Edison logos, landmarks and important events in the school’s history. We are pleased to offer men’s and ladies’ button front shirts, as well as unisex pajama bottoms. Extended sizes are available but quantities may be limited. All proceeds from aloha gear sales directly benefit our students. Men’s shirts are $40, ladies’ shirts are $35, unisex pajama bottoms are $25 and blankets are $35. 	HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU !!! Edison High School ASB will be sponsoring a new fundraiser. All proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to purchase a new school marquee.You will have the opportunity to have your student/friends name, on the marquee for their birthday!! Click HERE for the form. The cost will be for one name only $40.00. Or your student/friends name with others included for $20.00. The names will appear on the marquee for one week, appearing every few minutes from 7am to 10pm each day. Call the Activities Office atT 4409 or the Financial Office at 4413 if you have any questions.
