The 9th Annual “Flash From the Past” Car Show has been scheduled for Saturday, May 1, 2010. 2010-2011 EHS Student/Family Directory
Information is now being collected for the 2010-2011 EHS Student/Family Directory. Each year the Edison High School Foundation publishes the directory, which is available for purchase through Foundation membership packages. The directory includes contact information for students, faculty and booster organizations. It also includes academic and event calendars, bell schedules and pertinent information for students and their families. Publication of your family’s information is voluntary and there is no charge for this service. Information must be submitted by June 30, 2010 to be included in the 2010-2011 Directory. Mission Statement
The Edison High School Foundation was created to raise funds for programs and services which promote educational excellence for the students of Edison High School. Our goal is to support and inspire students at all educational levels by providing the tools they need to succeed in the global community through active partnerships with students, teachers, staff, parents, alumni and the community. Aloha Gear
What better way to display Charger pride than the clothes you wear? The fabric for this cool, comfortable gear was custom designed and features Edison logos, landmarks and important events in the school’s history. We are pleased to offer men’s and ladies’ button front shirts, as well as unisex pajama bottoms. Extended sizes are available but quantities may be limited. All proceeds from aloha gear sales directly benefit our students. Men’s shirts are $40, ladies’ shirts are $35, unisex pajama bottoms are $25 and blankets are $35. Alumni Bricks
The Edison High School Foundation is pleased to offer personally engraved bricks for current students, faculty and alumni. These bricks serve as a lasting, on-campus tribute to the Edison community. The engraved bricks are now available in two sizes and are mounted on the cement columns around campus. The 4x8 brick allows for 3 lines of text with up to 18 characters per line. The 4x8 brick is $75.00. The new 8x8 brick allows for 7 lines of text with up to 18 characters per line. The 8x8 brick is $125.00. Orders are accepted throughout the year but the deadline for the 2010 installation is April 1, 2010. All bricks ordered before that date will be installed on campus in June. Fan Flips
Want a cool, comfortable way to show your school spirit? The Edison High School Foundation is pleased to offer “FanFlips,” custom-designed flip flops for proud Charger fans. All of the FanFlips straps are made from web-backed fabric approximately 1¼” thick, for support and comfort across the top of the foot. The straps are green with the “Edison Chargers” and Charger lightning bolts custom embroidered in green and yellow with yellow and white trim so they really stand out. The sole is made from 7/8” thick high density black foam rubber and has a contoured arch for support and comfort. Click HERE for an order form.
E-Scrip
Parents and the community can support the Edison High School Foundation by registering grocery and credit cards on E-Scrip at www.escrip.com.
Direct Donation
To date, the Edison High School Foundation has been able to purchase new computer equipment and resource materials for the Career Center, web-coated picnic tables and benches for the newly renovated bowl and special abilities cluster (SAC) areas, and new equipment for the EHS band and pageantry corps. Direct donation campaigns are conducted annually but your generous donations are welcome at any time.
